Injuries after five-vehicle crash on A48 at Cross Hands

Three motorists were taken to hospital after a five-vehicle crash on the A48 in Carmarthenshire.

The incident occurred at around 07:00 GMT in the westbound lane at Cross Hands, which was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.

One car has reportedly left the carriageway.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service say there are no persons trapped but there are some injuries.

Crews helped paramedics and making vehicles safe between Cross Hands and Llanarthne.
