Swansea pedestrian death: Police plea after Subaru collision near Village Hotel

A pedestrian has died after a collision with a car during the early hours in Swansea.

South Wales Police say it involved a silver Subaru Impreza on the outbound road near the Village Hotel, Fabian Way, shortly after 00:40 GMT on Sunday.

Police are treating the death as unexplained and want to speak to anyone in the area from 23:30 GMT on Saturday.

The road was closed with traffic diverted along Pentreguinea Road towards the M4, J44 and J45.

No further details about the pedestrian have been released as officers are contacting the next of kin.
