A477 Pembrokeshire crash: three taken to hospital as cars collide

Three people have been taken to hospital after a collision involving two cars on the A477 in Pembrokeshire.

Fire fighters say they released a man and a woman from separate vehicles after being called to the scene at Redberth near Tenby at 13:54 GMT on Saturday.

There were six people in the two cars at the time.

Traffic Wales reported the road was closed in both directions between Kilgetty and Sageston.

Local diversions were in place following the incident.

The Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said three of its fire engines attended.

It said three people were taken to hospital by air and land ambulances.

Information was not available about the extent of their injuries.
