Legionnaires' disease: New case brings total to five in Carmarthen
A new case of Legionnaires' disease has been reported in Carmarthen.
It brings the total number of cases in the outbreak to five and Public Health Wales (PHW) and Carmarthenshire council are investigating.
The five have links to Carmarthen and have all required hospital treatment.
Symptoms include breathlessness, chest pain, a dry cough, fever, muscle aches, and sometimes vomiting and diarrhoea. The disease can lead to pneumonia and prove fatal.
