Pylon painter airlifted to hospital after field fall in Laugharne

A painting contractor had to be airlifted to hospital after tripping over a drainage ditch.

The man, who had been painting pylons in Laugharne, Carmarthenshire, was crossing a field at around 16:30 on Tuesday.

He had a suspected shoulder injury but was later discharged from Morriston Hospital, Swansea.

Central and West Ambulance Service initially believed the man fell from an electricity pylon.
