Charmaine MacMuiris A 28-year-old man has been charged with murdering Charmaine MacMuiris

A man has been charged with murder following the discovery of a woman's body at a house in Carmarthen on Christmas Day.

The body of mother-of-three Charmaine MacMuiris, 37, was discovered at about 10:50 GMT at a home in Maes yr Ysgol.

Dyfed-Powys Police said a 28-year-old man would appear before magistrates in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, on Friday.

Detectives have appealed for anyone who may have information which could help them to contact police in Carmarthen.

Officers have said they are particularly keen to hear from people who were in the Maes yr Ysgol area between 17:00 on Christmas Eve and 11:00 GMT on Christmas Day.
