The family of an Ammanford woman who was killed when her car collided with a coach on the A483 in Carmarthenshire, has paid tribute to her.

Bethan Davies, 41, died and 15 people were injured in the crash near Pont Abraham roundabout on Tuesday.

Her family said she was "a loving daughter, beloved sister, a valued friend and work colleague".

The coach was taking students from Coleg Sir Gar's Ammanford campus to Llanelli when it crashed.

Ms Davies' family said she was well loved within her community.

In a statement they said: "Our loss as a family is indescribable and the fact that she is no longer with us has not yet sunk in properly.

"We are touched and very grateful for every one of the messages of support and condolence that we have received from family, friends and from the community as a whole."

Ms Davies' funeral will be held at Llanelli Crematorium on Thursday, 7 February.

Investigations are continuing into the crash. The 52-seater coach came off the road but remained upright on a verge.

Witnesses should call Dyfed-Powys Police on 101.
