Uplands, Swansea: Appeal over woman 'forced into car'

Police in Swansea are appealing for witnesses after a woman was seen being forced into a dark coloured jeep-style vehicle.

The incident happened at about 16:00 GMT on Monday at the junction of Eden Avenue and Glanmor Road in the Uplands area of the city.

The female is thought to be in her 20s and detectives believe three occupants of the vehicle were of Chinese origin.

Det Ch Insp Simon Davies of Swansea central police station said: "We are concerned for the safety of this female and would encourage her to contact us so that we know she is safe and well.

"I am also keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident that happened in broad daylight on a busy road."
