Crash victim named as Elin Davies, 19, from Glanamman

A 19-year-old woman who died after a road crash in Carmarthenshire has been named by police.

Elin Davies, from Glanamman, was a passenger in a car which crashed down an embankment on the A4069 near Llangadog.

Three other women were airlifted to hospital with injuries after the incident on 7 April

Dyfed-Powys Police said a post mortem examination has been carried out and an inquest opened and adjourned.

A Ford Ka left the road and crashed down an embankment on the Llangadog to Brynamman road.

The Brecon, Central Beacons and Western Beacons mountain rescue teams all helped in the rescue operation, as did an RAF rescue helicopter from Chivenor in Devon.
