Man charged over mosque damage in Tonna

A 21-year-old man is due to appear in court on Saturday after the windows of a south Wales mosque were smashed and two people were assaulted.

Police were called to Tonna, Neath, in the early hours of Friday morning.

South Wales Police said a number of windows were smashed and a woman and a man assaulted.

A local man will appear at Swansea Magistrates' Court charged with racially aggravated assault and criminal damage.
