A climber and rider are hurt in Gower incidents

A climber and a horse rider are both in hospital after being injured in separate incidents on Gower.

The climber was flown to hospital in Swansea after falling about 100ft (30m) from cliffs at Rhossili on Sunday morning.

A woman, 30, was also flown to Morriston Hospital after falling from her horse at Three Cliffs, Gower, just after 13:00 BST on Sunday.

Swansea coastguard said it had no details of injuries to the individuals.

The coastguard said it co-ordinated both rescues, which involved RAF helicopter crews from RAF Chivenor in Devon, Rhossili coastguard team, and also a rescue team from Oxwich.
