Sixteen jobs lost in Neath Port Talbot

Sixteen jobs have been lost at a Neath Port Talbot aerospace company after it ran into financial difficulty.

Rovac Aerospace in Crynant has seen its turnover fall by nearly £800,000 in a year from March 2013.

The Dulais Valley company specialised in painting and polishing aircraft furniture such as seating.

Accountancy firm Mazars are trying to sell Rovac Aerospace and say it had "very little option" but to close the office.

"Rovac Aerospace Ltd had been experiencing financial difficulties," confirmed Keith Morgan from Mazars.

"All attempts to restructure the business failed."

The company, who provided seating for Finnair, Swiss Airways and Nimbus, made its workforce redundant on 29 October.
