The family of a grandfather who died in a crash in Swansea on Saturday say they have lost "our best friend".

Ken Jones, 72, from Clydach, was driving a Ford Focus which came off the road at the Glais roundabout on the A4067 at about 12:10 GMT.

A family statement described him as "a loyal loving husband, doting father and grandfather to seven grandchildren".

It added: "Words can't describe our devastating loss as a family, he will be forever in thoughts and hearts.

"He touched everyone with his laughter, kindness and generosity.

"A true gentleman who was liked and loved by all that knew him, we have truly lost our best friend."
