£750,000 of cocaine seized and 10 arrested in police raids

Ten people have been arrested after drug raids in Swansea uncovered £750,000 of cocaine.

Nine addresses were raided by police in the Penlan area of the city and 25kg of the drug was recovered.

Around £50,000 in cash as well as expensive jewellery, watches, five cars, two motorbikes and four quad bikes were also seized during the operation.

All 10 suspects have been charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

They have been remanded in custody to appear at Swansea Crown Court.

Chief Superintendent Phil Davies, divisional commander for Swansea and Neath Port Talbot, said: "This was a major drugs operation.

"It resulted in 10 arrests and a significant amount of Class A drugs, cash and property being recovered."
