Man arrested over attack in McDonald's in Swansea

A 34-year-old man has been arrested after a member of staff was attacked at a McDonald's in Swansea.

The fast food worker was punched in the face by a man who was told he could not go behind the counter to use the restaurant's phone.

The attack happened at the Fabian Way branch on 17 January at about 23:30 GMT.

Ron Mounsey, owner of the McDonald's franchise, said: "The safety of our staff is a priority for us."
