Two rescued from roof in Carmarthenshire flat fire

Two people have been rescued from the roof of their home following a fire in Carmarthenshire.

Firefighters were called to the blaze at flats at Morlan Terrace, Burry Port, just after 01:30 BST on Friday.

Both people were treated for the effects of smoke inhalation by paramedics.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service will return this morning to investigate the cause of the blaze.
