A woman has been sexually assaulted in Port Talbot, prompting police to issue an appeal.

South Wales Police said the woman, 41, was standing outside Port Talbot railway station on Sunday evening when she got into a car with two men inside.

She was driven from the town centre to Baglan Moors where the attack took place at about 23:00 BST.

The driver and front seat passenger are described as being Asian in appearance and both aged in their early 20s.

'Full investigation'

The car has been described as a bronze five-door saloon.

Police said it was parked on Baglan Industrial Estate, near the DJ Thomas coach depot, prior to the attack.

Det Insp Phil Sparrow said: "While this is clearly a serious incident I would like to reassure the public that a full investigation is continuing and we are doing everything we can to find those responsible."
