Peter Bellett admits stabbing Garnant pharmacist
A man has admitted stabbing a pharmacist at a practice in Carmarthenshire.
Peter Bellett, 69, of Garnant, pleaded guilty to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
Michael Irons was treated in hospital after the attack at Garnant Pharmacy near Ammanford on 5 December, 2016.
Bellett was due to stand trial at Swansea Crown Court but pleaded guilty on the first day of the hearing.
He will be sentenced at a later date.
