Bamako floods: Mali capital hit as River Niger bursts banks

Officials in Mali say at least 24 people have been killed in flash floods caused by torrential rain in the capital, Bamako.

Thousands were also made homeless as the Niger river burst its banks, destroying around a hundred houses.
