Pistorius trial: Day 21 round-up in tweets and video

It was another dramatic day in Pretoria as Oscar Pistorius took the stand once again to give evidence in his trial for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

State prosecutor Gerrie Nel continued his cross-examination of the athlete and suggested that Mr Pistorius was using his emotions "as an escape" after he broke down four times on Monday.

Here is how our reporters covered the day's testimony, via tweets and video reports. You can follow coverage when proceedings resume on Tuesday via our correspondents in Pretoria on Twitter here.
