Boat races and dumplings for China's Dragon Boat Festival

Help

People across China are getting ready to celebrate the annual Dragon Boat Festival which falls on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar.

The festival pays tribute to the ancient poet Qu Yuan who, legend has it, drowned himself as a protest against being falsely accused of treason.
