20 August 2013 Last updated at 16:15 BST

Afghanistan's footballers have triumphed over Pakistan 3-0 in a friendly match, the first international game played in Kabul in a decade.

The BBC's Karen Allen visited the stadium ahead of kick off and described the atmosphere as "electric".

She spoke to one Afghan fan who said he hoped the match would send a "peace message" to his neighbours. He also managed to correctly predict the score.
