Can scars of war heal in Sri Lanka?

A Tamil candidate in this weekend's provincial election in northern Sri Lanka has reportedly been attacked, the day before the polls.

It is the first vote in the former stronghold of the Tamil Tiger rebels, four years since the end of nearly three decades of civil war on the island.

As Andrew North reports, genuine reconciliation is still some way off.
