Australia bushfires: State of emergency declared

Australian officials have declared a state of emergency in News South Wales as bushfires continue to rage.

The fires, which are the worst for more than a decade, have already destroyed at least 200 homes and conditions could deteriorate further with soaring winds and high temperatures expected.
