Philippines Typhoon Haiyan: Vaccines to help at-risk children

25 November 2013 Last updated at 14:01 GMT

A mass immunisation programme is set to help thousands of children in the Philippines at risk from the effects of Typhoon Haiyan.

Doctors hope about 33,000 children will be vaccinated against polio and measles, as families are left homeless and without sanitation.

The BBC's Global Health correspondent Tulip Mazumdar spoke to one Unicef doctor in Tacloban.
