South Korea announces expanded air defence zone

South Korea has announced it is expanding its air defence zone in the waters south of the Peninsula, overlapping a similar zone announced by China.

Both zones now include a submerged rock known to South Korea as Ieodo, and used by the peninsula nation as the perch for a maritime research station.
