Thousands rally in Hong Kong to demand democratic reforms

Over 10,000 people in Hong Kong have taken to the streets to demand democratic reforms.

The Chinese government has agreed to allow citizens in the semi-autonomous city to directly elect their leader in 2017.

Yet there are worries that Beijing will continue to pull the strings from behind the scenes.
