Five people who had been snorkelling off the coast of Queensland in Australia had to be rescued on Monday after their boat drifted away.

They managed to scrawl the letters SOS onto a nearby sandbar and were waiting on rocks to be rescued when emergency services found them. The group are reported to be sunburnt, but otherwise in good health.

Tony Miller is from the Central Queensland rescue helicopter service in Mackay. He told BBC Radio 5 live's Breakfast how his team found the group after police called them to report a drifting boat.
