Blasts hit provincial China Communist office

At least one person is reported to have been killed during a series of explosions outside a provincial office of the ruling Communist Party in northern China.

State media reports that the explosions, during the morning rush hour in the city of Taiyuan, in Shanxi province, appear to have been caused by home-made bombs.
