Indian badminton player and Olympic bronze medallist Saina Nehwal has won the Denmark Open Super Series Premier trophy.

Nehwal, 22, beat German's Juliane Schenk in the finals played on Sunday in Odense in Denmark.

The game was over in just 35 minutes with the score of 21-17 and 21-8.

Nehwal is ranked number four in world badminton. This is her fourth title win of the year. She also won gold at the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games.

Nehwal has won the Swiss Open title, the Thailand Open Grand Prix Gold title and the Indonesia Open Super Series Premier this year.

"There were a lot of things which I did after Olympics which made me fresh but every tournament is tough," Press Trust of India quoted Nehwal as saying.

"My right knee was not really in perfect shape but I thank God for giving me the energy to win the title," she said.

The Indian had beaten world number one China's Yihan Wang in the semi-finals.
