Australian man in court charged with David Greene murder
A man has appeared in court in Australia charged with the murder of an Irishman in Melbourne.
David Greene, 30, was attacked on 26 August at a boarding house but later died from his injuries.
David Byas, 30, the other Irishman who was injured, is still receiving treatment.
Luke James Wentholt, who was originally charged with assault, was charged with murder at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
David Greene and David Byas were attacked at the property in St Kilda East.
Mr Greene, who was from Cabinteely in Dublin, died in hospital on Friday while Mr Byas remains in a rehabilitation centre.
