Dublin could be without its Luas service in three weeks after drivers balloted in favour of industrial action.

The drivers, who are members of SIPTU, are seeking improved working conditions. They recently rejected a Labour Court recommendation.

The union intends to inform Luas operator Veolia Transdev Ireland of their intention to take industrial action in three weeks.
