A viable explosive device has been found at a college campus in Dublin.

Irish army bomb disposal officers were called to the Institute of Technology in Blanchardstown on Saturday morning after the device was found near an ATM.

Buildings nearby were evacuated while the army made the device safe.

The operation was completed at 11:35 GMT and the device was taken away for forensic examination.
