Ex-Anglo Irish Bank head Sean FitzPatrick sent for trial
Former Anglo Irish Bank chairman and chief executive Seán FitzPatrick has been sent for trial on 12 charges.
He is accused of making false, misleading or deceptive statements in relation to millions of euros to the company's auditors over six years.
It is alleged that he did not inform auditors about loans to himself and others that he had authorised,
Mr FitzPatrick was remanded on continuing bail to appear before Dublin Circuit Criminal Court in three weeks.
