Funeral held for seven-year-old boy drowned in Cork
The funeral has been held of the seven-year-old boy who drowned in County Cork on Saturday 25 March.
James Casey-Butler fell into the Owenacurra River near his home in Midleton at around 19:00 GMT.
After undergoing emergency treatment at Cork University Hospital, he was transferred to Our Lady's Hospital Crumlin but later died.
Monsignor Eamonn Goold told the congregation that James's death was unnatural and cruel.
Following the funeral Mass at the Church of the Most Holy Rosary in Midleton he was buried in the adjoining cemetery.
