A Bangor-based company has announced it is creating 55 new jobs.

Mango Direct Marketing Ltd provides direct telemarketing and customer services to local, national and international clients.

Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster said the announcement "signals the company's ongoing commitment to the local area".

"The jobs are being supported by Invest NI Jobs Fund and will enable Mango to take on major new contracts in its key target markets," she said.

"It is encouraging to see companies investing in growth even in these difficult times."

Mango has grown every year since it was established in 2008.

The new jobs will help the company meet the demand for its services from home shopping and charity organisations.

Invest NI has offered the company £165,000 of support to assist with the expansion.
