Police investigating the deaths of three members of a British family and a French national in the Alps last year say they have made significant progress.

Saad al-Hilli and his wife Iqbal, from Claygate, her mother Suhaila al-Allaf and French cyclist Sylvain Mollier were shot on 5 September 2012.

Investigators revealed that the victims were shot by an experienced gunman. They also believe that a bitter row within the family over inheritance money may have been significant.
