Phoenix Park murder: Police make third arrest

A third person has been arrested over the murder of a man found burned in a sleeping bag in Dublin's Phoenix Park in the early hours of Friday.

The victim, who is believed to be from Dublin and in his 30s, was found near the Wellington Monument in the park.

It is thought he was assaulted and then set alight.

A 17-year-old woman was arrested late on Monday evening and is being questioned at Blanchardstown police station.

The 27-year-old man who was arrested in Tallaght on Sunday has been charged with murder and is due to appear in court later on Tuesday.

A 20-year-old man, who was arrested earlier on Monday, is being questioned by police.
