9 December 2013 Last updated at 18:39 GMT

Ukrainian police have begun moving against protesters in central Kiev, with some protest camps in front of government buildings dismantled.

An opposition party said security forces had raided their headquarters.

The protesters had been given until Tuesday to leave. No clashes have been reported.

The BBC's Steve Rosenberg, in Kiev, says police were out in noticeably greater numbers.
