Protesters beaten as Ukraine demos spread beyond Kiev

Violent protests in Ukraine have spread beyond the capital, Kiev, as President Viktor Yanukovych held crisis talks with three key opposition leaders.

Until now anti-government protests had been focused solely on the capital but government buildings have been stormed in at least three other cities.
