Edenderry, County Offaly: Tom Dooley death treated as murder
The death of a man in County Offaly is being treated as murder, Irish police have said.
Tom "Toddy" Dooley was found in his home in Edenderry with severe head and body injuries on Sunday.
The 64-year-old lived alone in Sister Senan Court, an elderly accommodation area near the garda station in the town.

Neighbours had raised the alarm because he had not been seen for some time.
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed suspicious activity or who saw Mr Dooley between Thursday morning and Sunday afternoon to contact them.
