Three arrested after gun is seized in Dundalk

Three men have been arrested after police discovered a gun in County Louth.

The hand gun was discovered when officers searched a car at Greenacres housing estate, Dundalk, shortly after 21:00 GMT on Wednesday.

A 40-year-old man and two men aged in their late 20s were arrested at the scene.

All three are being questioned at Dundalk Garda station
