4 April 2014 Last updated at 16:23 BST

Protesters have clashed with police during an anti-austerity rally in central Brussels.

BBC correspondent Matthew Price was on the ground as water cannon and pepper spray were used on people demonstrating against budget cuts across the European Union.

As well as stopping traffic on Friday in the Belgian capital, the rally sent the nearby US Embassy into lockdown.
