Sinn Féin's Aengus Ó Snodaigh's son stabbed in Dublin

An 18-year-old son of a Sinn Féin member of the Irish parliament is in a serious condition in hospital after being stabbed in Dublin in the early hours of Sunday.

The victim, a son of Aengus Ó Snodaigh, was injured at a house on the Old Naas Road in the Bluebell area at about 00:30 BST.

He was treated by emergency personnel then taken by ambulance to hospital.

Police have appealed for information about the incident.
