Tension over Russian Victory Day celebrations in Latvia

Victory Day is a big event in Russia - commemorating the Soviet defeat of the Nazis.

But it is also celebrated inside the European Union. Tens of thousands of ethnic Russians are expected to take part in celebrations in the Latvian capital Riga, at a time when many countries in Eastern Europe are watching anxiously as events in Ukraine unfold.
