Offaly murder: Three men in Tullamore court
Three men have been charged in connection with the murder of a 64-year-old man in the Republic of Ireland earlier this year.
The body of Thomas Dooley was discovered in a house at Edenderry, County Offaly, in February.
The men, all aged in their 20s, were arrested in Dublin, Kildare and Offaly on Monday.
All three have been remanded in custody to appear again before Cloverhill District Court on 28 November.
In court were James Davy, 23, of Thornhill Meadows, Celbridge, County Kildare; Sean Davy, 20, of Clonmullen Drive and Matthew Cummins, 20, of Churchview Heights, both in Edenderry, County Offaly.
Both Sean Davy and James Davy made no reply when charged with Mr Dooley's murder.
A detective said Mr Cummins replied: "I never touched him" when charged with the offence.
