County Donegal: Woman released over Seamus Doherty murder investigation

A 57-year-old woman who was being questioned as part of a murder investigation in County Donegal has been released.

She was arrested on Tuesday evening in connection with the death of Seamus Doherty.

The 67-year-old's body was discovered at his home at Churchill, near Letterkenny, on 17 June, 2012.

A 51-year-old man who was arrested on Wednesday afternoon is still being questioned.

The case was initially treated as a sudden death but the investigation was upgraded to a murder inquiry after a post mortem examination.
