Dublin drugs find: Man held after five million euros haul

A man has been arrested after drugs with an estimated street value of five million euros (£3.7m) were seized in Dublin.

Police said 32.5 kilograms of suspected heroin and half a kilogram of suspected cocaine were seized during a search of premises at Bluebell Industrial Estate on Tuesday.

A handgun and a quantity of ammunition were also seized during the search.

A 39-year-old man, who was arrested on Monday, remains in police custody.

Police said that to date the investigation has led to the seizure of heroin and cocaine with an estimated value of 5.2m euros, five firearms, ammunition and cash.
