Migrants: Germany could take up to 800,000 this year

Germany receives more asylum seekers than anywhere else in Europe and it is predicted as many as 800,000 refugees will claim asylum in the country this year.

As towns and cities struggle to cope with the influx, the German government has reiterated demands for other EU states to do more to help.
