Irish man found dead in Turkish holiday apartment

Turkish police have launched a murder inquiry after an Irish man was found dead in an apartment in Bodrum.

It is understood the man in his 60s, had suffered a stab wound.

He was found at about 14:00 local time on Friday at the holiday apartment.

The Irish department of foreign affairs is providing consular assistance to his family.
